My Project

DMS is a 6th-8th grade school with approximately 600 students. We largely serve underrepresented communities. 98% of our students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, and many are facing homelessness. We have a racial minority enrollment rate of 74%, with Hispanic students making up the greatest portion of that. DMS is serving this community in every way that we can with multiple programs such as GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) and AVID (a college readiness program) as well as with self-contained classes for students with intellectual and/or emotional disabilities.

Many of our students count on the school to provide them with basic necessities, including hygiene products.

All of our students deserve to feel clean and confident to start the day. Please consider donating to these incredible students.
