My Project

Hello! I am a part of the school support team at a small elementary school on the northwest side of Milwaukee. My students come from all over Milwaukee, drawn to our agriculture program, open concept layout, and diverse and supportive staff. Over 98% of my students come from no or low income households.

Students seek out support staff due to lack of hygiene products.

These items i.e., feminine pads, wipes, extra change of clothes, lotion and hair products are among the most requested resources from students.

My students may struggle to stay engaged in learning if they are uncomfortable, these products will help reduce this barrier to learning.

Ms. Sullivan River Trail Elementary School Grades 6-8
