Our multi-age classroom is a community of learners and growers. We spend two years with our students, guiding them and watching them blossom. We emphasize working together and being a community. Each student helps one another and learns in the best way, by teaching.
Our students are an amazing and diverse group of third and fourth graders.
They come from high poverty areas. The difficulties these students face are sometimes unimaginable. Some are homeless or have family separations. School is often their comfort place and provides food as well as stability and shelter. The school is Title I funded. Our classroom is like a community and we want the students to feel comfortable and safe to learn.
My Project
Please help us buy a class set of water bottles for our Multi Age classroom of learners and growers. The reality of being without water all day is something that very few adults think about because they have the convenience at their finger tips. Trips to the water fountain through out the day are disruptive and result in essential learning loss.
These water bottles will ensure that our students have water within their reach all through out the day.
The vinyl will be extremely helpful for our students to put their names on the water bottles.
They can stay refreshed and hydrated. Their learning won’t be disrupted and their bellies will be full. It is so important and essential that we have these and we would be very grateful.
