Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our class is comprised of 24 energetic and inquisitive Transitional Kindergartners whose families come from different countries from around the world. For many of them, this is their first school experience and we want to make this experience as positive as possible.

My Project

During the long school day, lunch is not enough. In an effort to prevent the mid-afternoon slump, I would like to have healthy snacks available to re-energize young bodies. Our school was going to have hydration stations but Covid happened and everything came to halt. Since 70% of our body is made up of water, it is important for us to be hydrated while at school. Please help support this teacher's quest to provide clean, safe, and healthy drinking water to our growing young minds. This will keep my students healthy and safe while we are in-person learning during the pandemic.
