Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a coach, I work hard to motivate and teach our students the right and wrong way to do things. After Hurricane Irma, our team has had a hard time raising funds for our season. We have been focusing on practicing and even being able to show up consistently. My athletes are usually focused and ready, but, underneath it all, this hurricane has really disrupted our season. Hopefully, with this amazing website, we will be able to get the "Finals" singlets that we have been dreaming about.
My kids are competitive, and they make the finals regularly, but we don't have a uniform like other teams.
I think my kids not only deserve the gear but have earned it. Please help in any way you can. We will be doing our part, and, hopefully, with your help, we can get these kids the gear they deserve.
My Project
Keeping up with the top teams is not easy in wrestling. The practices are hard and long, the matches only last six minutes and the grind is never ending. The athletes that choose this sport are from a rare and special breed, not to mention that 95% of them are from broken, misplaced or low-income homes. This is why we NEED DonorsChoose.org to help us.
