Help me give my students energy to learn by providing food for our school based food pantry. They'll get a positive start with Kellogg's Cereal and continue making healthy choices throughout the day with Nutri-Grain bars, Mac and Cheese and Goldfish.
Our school has a wonderful group of close to 1000 learners who have been welcomed into our grade 3-5 community by extremely supportive teachers.
Although many of out students face physical, emotional, educational or social challenges, they always come to school ready to try hard and learn.
We have a very diverse population of students who have come to learn here from all over the world. Yet no matter their background, over 50% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch.
All of our students believe in our school motto; Be Safe, Be Responsible and Be Respectful. In order for them to reach their goals the staff is trying to provide for all students physical, mental and social well being. This is the type of school community any teacher or family should be proud to be a part of.
My Project
The food provided by this generous donation will go directly to students who need food assistance in our school. Many students rely on the school for all of their nutritional needs. More than a third of the students in our school are from low-income households.
Our kids are hungry to learn, but unfortunately they also come to school hungry.
To help students get the food they need, our staff created a school based food pantry last year. All of the food provided to these students is 100% from donations.
By receiving weekly snack and meal bags from our school based food pantry, students will have the energy they need to learn and confidence to grow as learners!
