My Students

A majority of the students in our small rural school live in low-income households. They come to school ready to learn and look forward to breakfast, lunch, and after school snack. The first questions I hear from them in the morning are, "What's for breakfast? What's for lunch?"

All of our students receive well-balanced nutritional meals at school every day.

However, quite a large number of them say that is not always the case when they are not at the school.

My Project

The goal of this project is to provide my students with healthy snacks such as Skinny Popcorn, Cheez-It, and Chex Mix. My students deserve the chance to stop worrying about their hungry bellies. They need to be able to focus on their lessons and academic success instead of when the next meal will be available.

Your donation to this project will help meet the basic needs of my students so they can focus on their academic success.

My students' lives will be greatly impacted by this project because their fear of hunger will be eliminated if this project is fully funded.
