My Project

I teach in an alternative learning program at a low income school where it is my job to get students to graduation! They come to school hungry to learn... and HUNGRY! I have found that by providing snacks I can keep them focused longer on the work and move them faster. We all know hungry minds can't concentrate! Thank you for helping me do this work. My teacher budget used to cry at trying to do this by myself! DonorsChoose and generous folks who understand the burden of teaching - especially in a tough area to kids who really need a break - are the best!
