Hummingbirds for All

Help me give my students the Hummingbird Bit Classroom Flock to allow students to turn their micro:bits into robots.

My Project

My school received a grant for 30 Micro:bits for my Integrated Technology and Computer Science classes. I received professional development for the Micro:bits and my favorite part was building robots using the Micro:bits and the Hummingbird kit. I know my students would love to work with this hardware. My goal is to have a classroom set of Hummingbirds to go with the Micro:bits.

Hummingbirds are a fun way to use coding that allows students to be creative in many subject areas.

A Future goal of Micro:bits and Hummingbirds is to allow 3D art students to collaborate with the students in technology classes to create 3D animation. There are many other subject areas that can benefit from this technology.

Please help my students have the opportunity to explore technologies that can impact all areas of their education.
