My Students

I teach amazing 4th grade students at a Title I school. Many of my students come to school to find routine and structure in their lives. Even though they come from difficult home lives they do their best to spread kindness and work hard each day.

My Project

These robotics kits will be used to challenge my students to think creatively and be problem solvers. I will use them to integrate STEM into language arts and other subjects as they create projects using the robotics kit.

The robotics kits will help them to solve problems and work collaboratively in groups with their classmates.

These kits will give my students the opportunity to learn and gain experience with coding and robotics and to introduce my students to STEM careers. I hope these robotics kits will help my students to be more engaged and involved in their learning and inspire them to pursue interests they have in STEM fields.

Not only will the students in my 4th grade class this year benefit from this project, but the robotics kits can be used over and over again so my future classes will also be able to benefit from these robotics kits.
