This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Every class starts with a "Do Now" which includes independent thinking or research. Not all the students have access to Internet at home, some the only access may be at school. Unfortunately, not all the classrooms are equipped with the technology pieces necessary for all the students to utilize.

Our school is a Magnet school within the district.

Students apply to attend. Our school focuses on the medical professions. Students that attend our school intend to go into one of the many medical professions. Our job is to expose them to all the possibilities and allow them opportunities to experience internships within the field.

My Project

Students will be able to use the iPad mini to assist with research, instruction and supplemental learning within the classroom. The iPad mini can be used in the beginning of class to complete the intro activity for students, assist in group learning-student directed learning/research within the class and for assistance to students to complete homework after school.

This iPad 3 mini will make a complete change to classroom climate.

The students will be more excited and motivated to complete work with the assistance of this added technology piece.
