How We Learn Math Best!

Help me give my students materials addition learning locks and ten-frames card decks to help my students have hands-on math learning opportunities in kindergarten. The neon storage bins will provide a place to store our math manipulatives.

My Students

My kindergartners are the reason I love going to work every day. They are inquisitive, caring, and hard workers. They come in ready to learn, not only academics but valuable lifelong social skills too.

My students engage in many activities throughout the day in my classroom.

My students seem to learn best when we are doing theme-based learning that integrates play and hands-on learning. Each student learns best in different ways, so having a range of stations and materials in my classroom helps me meet all my students' needs.

My Project

My kindergarten students are ready to learn about addition! One of their favorite ways to learn is to use learning locks. They love this hands-on way to be able to self check their answers. When I saw there was addition learning locks, I knew we needed some for our classroom.

Keeping things organized and easily accessible for my students is very important.

The neon bins will help all of the math materials be able to be utilized by my students and have a spot for the students to put the materials when they are done with them. The ten frame cards will be used for many partner games in our classroom!
