This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a community where families have limited resources. Many families live in single apartments or in an apartment with other families. While families provide a roof, love, clothing, and food for their children, there is still more that my students will need in order to access a well-rounded education.

My Project

Our beautiful young students would love the experience of having a pet. They do not have the room nor resources that other kids have but they have the same desires. We hope to enrich their lives by giving them experiences that many minority students miss out on. Our students will learn responsibilty, observations skills and life science with an aqua dragon kit. The aqua dragon kit has everything our students will need to create the perfect habitat for their tiny dragons, plus food to keep them happy. When minority students have a well rounded education they develop into confident students who are proud of themeselves. Thank you for taking the time to read our project.
