This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are hard working curious learners. They are always willing to try new activities and work towards accomplishing the goal they set.

They rise to any challenge and love to be interactive.

They need your help to feed their quest for knowledge by providing opportunities that will give them an edge against other students out there.

Health is a new class for them but they have taken in every topic and challenged me as a teacher to keep them engaged and learning everyday about themselves.

My Project

As part of the Health and PE Curriculum my middle school students will be learning how to save a life! They will learn the ins and outs of the body systems and the importance of each system has in keeping us alive. As a culminating activity the students will have the opportunity to practice CPR/AED skills that are imperative in life saving during an medical emergency. They will learn how to respond to an emergency in and outside of school. My students that are old enough will be allowed to take the CPR/AED test to become certified. Which will allow them to be prepared to help in an medical emergency .
