My Students

Our diverse students have many obstacles that get into their way of being successful. Most of our students come from low income areas, and physical activity is the most effective way of guidance towards a positive life! My students have been torn with the latest disaster from Hurricane Harvey.

Students are gradually trying to get their life's back together, and need to know someone cares.

Many of our students come from damaged families, which entail true distractions to a adolescent's growth. There is no doubt that with the right resources, and the thought of equality our students will succeed!

My Project

My goal is to create escapes from Hurricane Harvey's heartache, through new knowledge and self achievement. Using weight equipment and developing the mechanics to participate with weight equipment, will allow the development of a higher level curriculum. I know that teaching this new knowledge of weight training will help develop create personal goals. Combining the knowledge of a new skill, with the ability to work towards personal fitness goals, will create confidence. The confidence that these resources create will help pave a road for success in individual goals made by the students. Being able to provide that foundation for confidence will create a strong outlet from the mental anguish from Hurricane Harvey!
