This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very energetic students that come to school eager and ready to learn. They love story time and always look forward to this part of our day!

Research shows that reading to children during their first five years is crucial to their development!

Through read-alouds, teachers like myself are able to support students with early literacy skills and language development acquisition. The "How to Catch" series will help make story time fun and engaging for my young students. The bright illustrations and clever traps in each story will keep my young learners engaged, as well as eager to finish the story. These books will also be used as inspiration for STEM activities in the classroom and encourage student creativity during exploration time when students create their own traps in the classroom.
