My students are passionate artists who love to create. They are a resilient group of Jr. High students who give 110% to every project they create. The students are hard working, and they have successfully worked on acting, designing, writing, and collaborating for the theatre they produce.
Hurricane Harvey was tough for our community, however these students have shown tremendous courage, grit and determination.
They are fired up about the upcoming projects, and I am ready to be the best leader I can be for my kiddos! I am thankful they are here everyday to dedicate themselves to greatness.
My Project
This resource will help me to continue to learn and explore Sound and Projection design for the stage. I am committed to professional development that helps me to teach my students the most advanced technology that is happening in the world of theatre.
Design tools are advancing rapidly, and I want to stay ahead of the learning curve.
The iPad has all the tools I need to work on those skills. I will use Qlab, a software for theatre professionals, which is only available for Mac products. I will also use Garageband for original and modified sound design. I can teach my students how to use the programs, then allow them their own creative outlet for designing and collaborating as artists.
