My Students

My fifth grade class is the oldest in our school before they enter middle school next year. They want and need additional responsibilities in order to be ready to move on. They love research and having access to technology on a daily basis. Right now we have computer carts that are shared but often questions come up and there is no way for a student to access information in a timely manner. Having at least one student tablet in the room would make this possible.

My Project

My students are interested in so many different subjects! They ask questions that I can't always answer and I want them to be able to research and find their answers. Having technology in the classroom would make this possible!

Having access to a technology would be a win/win for myself and my students.

I try to find something that motivates each of my students and I know this would be a big motivating factor for some students. Also, some of my students just need more exposure to technology. Many still do not have internet access in their homes and are falling behind in our moving world!
