My Students

I teach a diverse group of Earth Science students who all share a common excitement about Science and our Earth.

My students are high academic achievers but need assistance in developing and enhancing their soft skills.

This project will give students from all cultures, areas, and various incomes an opportunity to learn and discover about their environment. I want my students to realize that we only have one Earth. We need to love it, respect it and it will love us back.

My Project

Every year, my students complete an Earth Day Project. We learn about how society is currently trashing the Earth and how we need to be respectful and love the Earth. We will spend our class period collecting trash that has carelessly been left by uninformed peers. By providing the grabbers for my classes, students will not only be able to complete their Earth Day project, but also understand why it is very important to take care of our Earth.

They will have an appreciation for beautifying their school and instill school pride.

After all, there's only one Earth and it's our home.
