This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are competitive! They love competition, they love team work, and they love being part of a TEAM!

In my class we focus on being a good teammate to one another and building each other up with encouragement unknown to mankind.

The kids love this idea and are so good at cheering one another on during individual and team goals. It is very rewarding being around these kids and to be able to watch them grow into awesome athletes and sportsmen.

My Project

The new 400 foot tape measure will be used by both myself and the other PE Teacher at my school during class. For the first time in a long time the students will be able to accurately measure how long they can jump, throw and run. Our students love to compete and these new items will help with just that.

Having these new items to use in class as well as for track practice, my students will have the opportunity to get better in a professional way.

Our kids love being independent, and with practiced independence comes added responsibility. We as teachers and coaches would love for our kids to take responsibility to help set up class, run stations, and record jumps, throws and times in running events.
