How Can I Keep From Singing?

My students need a small portable PA system so that our chorus can perform at events outside of school. We would also use the sound equipment for school dances and other activities that require music.

My Students

My students love music! They are engaged, creative, and eager to learn. Several of my students have asked to bring an instrument from home to show their class, or share something they have done with music outside of school.

This year, we have started an after school chorus program.

These students voluntarily stay after school two afternoons a week to learn and rehearse songs. We have performed several times this year, both at school and outside of school, and are looking for more opportunities to perform in the future. My chorus students love singing are dedicated an hard-working.

My Project

My chorus students are hoping to share their love of music as much as they can! We would love to sing at our area nursing homes as well as local festivals in our community. To do that successfully, we need decent sound equipment. As of right now, we are running sound through a busted Macbook and a guitar amp I bought in high school 18 years ago!

If we are able to get a small sound system, we will be able to give a more quality performance for our audiences and share our love of singing wherever we go!

Our chorus as a whole would be heard more clearly, and our soloists would get their time to shine, as we'll be able to use microphones.
