My Students
We are preparing to take on the world. We want to be part of the technological revolution.
We are a rural school of approximately 900 students grade 9-12. We are trying to offer more AP level courses and rigor to help students be successful at the post-secondary level. Exposure to technology that many students cannot afford or do not have available will help them learn more about 21st century technical skills necessary in the workplace.
My Project
Students in several of my Advanced Placement classes will use these tablets to participate in interactive skills. Chemistry and physics students will be able to work on lab simulations, and AP English students will be creating interactive presentations based on novels and rhetoric.
With your help, my students will be able to access technology they will eventually see in the college classroom as well as the workplace. This exposure will not only help them become stronger in workplace skills, it will also expose them to technology as a career.
