My students need a math Hot Dot set and 4 Hot Dot pens.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I teach 22 fourth graders in Central Florida. We are located in a low-income area, where more than 100% of the children receive free lunch. State budget cuts have been devastating and we struggle to supply our students with the basics. My students LOVE math and like to learn in non-traditional ways.
Learning math vocabulary and skills can be a struggle for many students.
Having Hot Dots will make it fun! We are eager to learn new things and are anxious to grow up and become knowledgeable young men and women. We come from various academic, ethnic/cultural, and economic backgrounds. For several of my students, English is their second language.
I am requesting the Hot Dots math card sets along with 4 Hot Dots pens. My students will be able to utilize these during centers and math time. They will be able to work individually or with a partner to practice many skills. They will get instant reinforcement when they get a question correct and be able to fix ones they miss right away. It's also a fun way to practice instead of yet another worksheet.
It is so important for children to have strong math.
No matter what area they are studying or what careers they decide to pursue, they need a solid base to build their math knowledge.
