This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My science classroom is a place of challenge and discovery. Students spend this year laying the foundation for advanced science concepts. They are full of knowledge and curiosity.

My students are active and creative.

Many have a drive to create a better future for themselves. They love to work on projects to prove their knowledge on a particular topic. They think outside of the box and express a desire to learn more. They absolutely love hands-on activities and technology. However being a Title I school, many do not have the resources to do just that. 91% of my students are considered English Learners. Being the teacher privileged to teach them I want to bring them the skills to allow them to soar.

My Project

With this project, my students will get a new printer and ink to use in the classroom. The printer and ink will allow us to print copies and pictures.

My students need to see their hard work and I want them to be able to share with the world.

We are in great need of a printer and ink. This new printer will benefit all my students. They will be able to print class projects. I would also use this printer to print certificates and awards to motivate and affirm my students' success. The printer will allow us to print our work and pictures to use for learning. Help us to enter the world of technology and print our work.
