CV Elementary is a school full of diverse students. Children at CV Elementary are unique and special is so many ways. Some students have great great grandparents who have lived in this area for years and others have recently moved from across the country. The students who have a long history in C are very proud to be part of the community and their school work reflects that. Others who are new to the community can sense the pride and want to be part of it.
The hard work and dedication that the students at CV elementary put forth is evident throughout the school.
Whether it is the autobiographies/biographies on the bulletin boards in the hallway or 3D models for book reports, the pride shines through on a "job" well done. The students love having projects to work on because the connection is being made of hands-on learning. Recently, a class described cells organelles through cartoons or "graphics" as graphic novels are so popular these days. Creativity also comes to mind as 4th graders decided what life would be like inside a snow globe.
All of these projects are so important to the students at CV.
My Project
CV Elementary is a school that is growing each year. Even though the school is growing, we are very conscious of our resources. CV Elementary has some outdated equipment. Our current GBC laminator was puchased in 1997. It was a good investment and we are looking for another good investment.
A GBC laminator can help the teachers as well as the students at CV Elementary by ensuring that their work is protected.
It is great for teachers because their laminated teaching material can last for years!
Students can have their work last for years as well and look back and enjoy it with their families in the years to come.
