This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Kindergarten is in some cases a child's first time in school. Some students are learning their sounds whereas others are learning to read. While they are yet in various learning stages they all still love snacks, to talk, and my favorite, hugs.
Kindergarten is an amazing grade and the students are at a critical age.
They are at the age where they can be molded by anything in their environment. Unfortunately, students do not have the ability to dictate where they live. They love to be social and learn new concepts. We are a Title I school where every student receives free lunch. Because our school has limited resources, various supplies will help contribute to their learning environment.
My Project
With these Hot Dots, students will be able to interactively work independently while focusing on phonics. The Hot Dots will help students concentrate on particular skills in their various groups. Hot Dots allow students to self check answers, stay engaged, and ultimately have fun while doing so.
Many resources are rugged and a new one like Hot Dots would be awesome to have!
This resource can be used not only in stations, but also in their spare time. It helps students redirect when they need help and encourages them when they answer it correctly. Hot Dots would be amazing to have in the classroom!
