My Students

My students are active learners who love hands-on experiences and will benefit most from activities that allow them to explore and build upon their learning in various ways.

At this stage in their learning, it is vital that each child is supplied with the tools needed to make sense of the skills they are learning to use.

If I am able to allow my students to be an active part of my teaching, the better the learning outcome each day.

My Project

During our daily Guided Reading time each day, students spend time reading in groups with the teacher or teacher's assistant. A few students meet with the teacher while the other students practice skills mastery at other centers independently. These centers are geared to Literacy, Writing, and Math improvement.

These Hot Dot pens will allow student to have self paced practice with instant feedback to guide them in their learning.

They are fun, exciting, and easy to use tools that the students are always eager to use. Having these resources available for use would help improve student success during this time.
