This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My amazing students come to school eager to learn and ready and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can to be successful one day. As a teacher at a Title One school, my students are faced with several challenges both in and outside of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to provide an engaging student-centered classroom experience that encourages learning and keeps my students relaxed.

My Project

This summer, I have planned some new and exciting things for this upcoming school year. I recently learned about a great resource called Hot Dots! I became so excited when I researched this resource. I couldn't stop thinking of the benefits it would bring to my students.

Hot Dots will be used to give my students more options for reading and math centers!

My students will be able to learn at their own pace during their individual time. They will also build their confidence in skills that they have trouble with. I am so excited about the possibilities this resource will bring to my classroom.
