Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have 24 kindergarten students this school year. My students are eager and excited to come to school every day. They are ready to learn, play, and make new friends! I teach at a Title I school where most of the students are English Language Learners. Many students come from diverse cultural backgrounds. There are 16 different languages spoken at my school. The majority of my students are English Language learners. Most of my students receive free or reduced priced lunch.
My Project
I am requesting six Hot Dots interactive learning games. These will reach all my students at their varying levels of learning. They come with activities for students who need basic kindergarten skills through activities for my advanced kindergartners that cover first grade skills. My students will practice reading and math skills.
All these learning games will be fun and challenging for all of my students!
My kindergarten students will be able to work independently with the self-checking Hot Dot games. They can take turns using the Hot Dots games throughout the day. My students will be motivated to learn. Learning will be fun!
