My students need materials that support their road to living independently. Having a video visual along with roll played situations they can see and learn from gives them the best foundation to build on.

My Students
My students are fantastically fabulous! They are all in high school between 9th and 12th grades. They have special needs and require more hands-on support when learning. Every day they come with a smile on their face and the eagerness to learn something new. I love to see the light bulb moments when they understand what you are teaching them. They are always so supportive of one another and making new friends around campus. Learning is their first priority and I love that I am the one that gets to support them with that every day!
My Project
My students are at the point in their educational process where they need to learn how to function on their own safely. With the support of these materials, my students will learn how to safely navigate, tolerate, survive and thrive in the world around them. They will see people acting out situations as well as working on job skills to strengthen their job skills. With these materials they will have work sheets to focus in on specific lessons such as safety situations and how to interact or not engage. They will also be able to start building different vocational skills to strengthen their independence.
