My Students

Our school is an amazing community filled with teachers and staff dedicated to helping our students reach their fullest potential. I have the pleasure of teaching health and wellness, and physical education to over 800 students in kindergarten through 5th grade. I have the pleasure of working with student every day to improve their overall health and wellness. I am always looking for new and exciting ways to promote physical fitness and teach students how important it is to live a healthy lifestyle.

My Project

My students need a portable basketball hoop. Having this basketball hoop will help them with learning how to dribble, pass, and shoot the ball. They will work as a team and support each other in learning the game. Basketball is a team sport that teaches teamwork and camaraderie. I believe that learning the game will also teach students to depend on each other as they work toward achieving a common goal. Having a basketball hoop that is portable will allow us to move it to practice and play both indoor and outdoor depending on the weather outside. Please help me provide my students with opportunities to engage in a great sport while teaching teamwork skills.
