This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Help us keep our students healthy and active! We finally have enough money for a basketball court behind our school. Now we just need help getting the proper equipment to play!
This project will help around 800 students.
We are a Title 1 school in Alabama. Our students and staff are hard working and deserve proper P.E. equipment to help keep our students active and engaged during P.E. We have been fundraising and working very hard to raise money for a basketball court out back. Now all we need are the basketballs!
My Project
Our school has been raising money all year to get basketball goals set up in the P.E. area behind our school. Our staff members are hardworking and really love each and every child at this school. Coffee is sold once a month in front of the school to try to raise money for P.E. equipment. (Even when it's rainy and cold!) Finally we have enough money to buy the basketball goals but not enough money to buy the supplies needed for the students to play basketball. Our students are looking forward to having a basketball court behind the school and we are almost there, we just need your help!
I would love for this project to get funded to show our students that hard work pays off.
We have been working very hard to raise money for this court. Now that we have the money for the court, we need the proper equipment to get started! This will impact about 800 students in grades K-5.
