Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The 750 students who will utilize the P.E. equipment is a diverse group come from all over the area. They enjoy learning and playing, especially P.E.. New equipment will enhance their desire to learn different games, strengthening different areas mentally and physically.
It's time to update the equipment to better service our 750 students and their mental and physical growth and attitude.
The students will perform better and learn to take care of the new equipment, instead of using old broken down items.
My Project
Physical fitness has been proven to affect mental awareness and growth. The new PE equipment will allow the students to benefit physically and mentally. Abilities learned through physical activity - strength, focus, teamwork - will be transferred over to the classroom setting to help the students succeed.
With the proper equipment, students will be able to feel better physically, work off extra energy, and improve their learning in the classroom; they will no longer be hurdling obstacles with broken/worn equipment.
Giving the students a chance to build upon themselves with the right/new equipment will add an excitement to their day.
