My 3rd and 4th grade students are in love with all things science. Their creative minds open up to new ideas when exploring science topics. They learn best when they have hands-on activities and investigations to conduct. I want to create excitement in the classroom through kinetic, visual, and sensory learning experiences.
My students are in need of science tools that will bring real life experiences into the classroom.
Our inquiry-based learning environment encourages their eagerness to learn and grow not only as students, but as individuals in the community.
My Project
These materials will enable my students to better understand topics in science. We are missing several important items that will contribute to student learning in science class. Learning about magnetism will come to life when students have real magnets to test the magnetism of various objects. We measure quite a bit in class and I would love for each group of students to have their own measuring tape. Timers, dice, and buzzers will help reviews and games go much smoother.
My students need these science tools to enhance their discoveries and promote further curiosity.
These additions to the science classroom will enable my 3rd and 4th graders to experience more of the natural world as we learn and grow together.
