My students need ukulele hooks to safely store their string instruments.
This project expired on August 29, 2014.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Our elementary students received a grant for ukuleles and provided after school music lessons for interested students. The students are excited about them and want to take care of them. We need wall mounted hooks to store our new ukuleles.
Our school's Music Makers are eager learners and good musicians.
They love to explore new ways to make music. They value the instruments and equipment in our music room. For many of the students, this is the only place they have the opportunity to make music using instruments. We have limited time for music instruction so ukulele hooks will give us quick access to these instruments.
The students will use the ukulele hooks to carefully store our new instruments. Ukuleles provide children with the opportunity to learn a stringed instrument. And the wall mounted hooks will teach the students about the proper way to store these instruments.
The cost of each hook is about $10.00 and is not within our music budget.
Donations to this project will insure that our beautiful ukuleles can be quickly retrieved and at the end of the lesson safely stored.
