My Students

In a constantly evolving learning environment, my students vie to solve any problem and adapt to each new challenge that comes their way. Armed with unbounded curiosity and filled with a passion for learning, the children in my classroom truly are capable of anything. Their diverse backgrounds and willingness to help each other to succeed enables each student to achieve goals that would otherwise not be possible.

My students understand that the best ideas are often the result of a collaborative effort that utilizes the strengths of all members of the classroom.

My students live in a landscape of rapidly advancing technology, and they are always excited when given the chance to utilize that technology to solve problems. It is the excitement they show across all aspects of learning that gives me the most joy, and it gives me the drive to push them to be successful in whatever they attempt to do.

My Project

All students have varying abilities in the classroom which creates the need for a variety of learning strategies. My literacy instruction focuses on personalized learning. This means that instruction in my classroom is adjusted to meet the individual needs of each student. In order to meet these different needs, I create different stations for them to use including a teacher, computer, and spelling station.

Implementing Time for Kids articles into my literacy instruction will allow for a different outlet of learning.

Based on students needs, I will create different written reading response questions for different groups of students. This will ensure all students receive the same content, and all students will be challenged.
