For over 30 years The H. Network of Schools has specialized in cultivating a mentality of excellence in all scholars. This mentality causes it's students to defy the odds and disprove the status quo. I am a product of this network and want nothing more but to continue to instill this excellence

is full of young men and woman who posses all of the qualities necessary to change the world. On a daily basis, our scholars are forced to combat some of the most rigorous obstacles and environmental challenges in existence. What I admire most about our scholars is that they face these challenges with persistence and resilience. With every reason to fold, with every reason to fail, they do not. They not only succeed but they excel. Our scholars are equipped with a hunger that allows me to envision how luminous their futures will be if cultivated by the right people with the right intentions. Our scholars have been put in the position to think not only about their immediate future, but for long term success. This is done by ingraining in them a sense of college readiness.
The materials that will be utilized on this trip will help to make this beneficial experience one to remember for a life time. We will use the charter bus to travel the south as a collective unit, having the opportunity to bond with one another and take from each other's experiences. The stops along the way include tours of prestigious historically black colleges and universities such as Alabama State, Tuskegee University, Clark Atlanta University, along with the commencement ceremonies of Morehouse and Spelman Colleges. We will also visit historic sites such as the 16th Street Baptist Church, Mason Temple, The Edmund Pettus Bridge and much more.
Contributions to this effort will add great value to the lives and personal legacy of each and every scholar who will participate.
Every stop along this tour will give each scholar the opportunity to visualize and live our network's mission which is to "honor our past while preparing for our future".
