Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My classroom is my home away from home. For many of my students, my classroom is more of a home than where they go to sleep after school.
I want to ensure that the classroom is warm and inviting and that it provides students a comfortable safe zone where they can let go and be themselves.
I am one of the inclusion teachers for my grade level. Providing a safe-haven that is cool and inspiring guides many of these students to value their workspace and ensure a successful day.
My students deserve a nicely decorated and organized classroom that provides them with motivation, inspiration, and determination to do their very best each and every day.
My Project
My students spend a lot of time in my classroom. Sometimes it feels more like "home" than their actual house. I would like to provide an inviting and warm classroom.
The classroom should feel inviting and be a place that provides inspiration to all who enter.
At the end of each year, I have to take all my decor down and then rebuy some items and repost everything back up in August when we return for the school year.
