The students in my classroom come from many different backgrounds, but once they arrive at school we become part of the same team. I strive to make my classroom a safe place for students to feel free to be themselves and become a community of learners in a place full of laughter and fun. I want my students to be excited about coming into my classroom every single day.
Each student in my classroom is a unique individual with unique learning needs.
As their teacher, it is my duty to expose these children to as many learning experiences as possible.
We are a Title I school. This means the school provides free breakfast and lunch to more than half of the children who are coming from low-income families.
My Project
It’s that time of year when we start to realize what could use a good update in our classroom. We are in need of a class set of crayons for all of our Spring projects, bags to carry these projects home, and updated classroom decor to keep ourselves motivated and excited about school as the year comes to a close. We have also noticed the benefits of a Yacker Tracker in some classrooms around us, and could use this awesome method of reminding students to stay focused during these last days of the school.
We are blessed with what we have, but some of our basic resources are running low.
We are also in need of some additional storage options to keep what we do have safe and accessible for future classes to enjoy. My students have worked extremely hard all year long and deserve a strong push for the finish line!
