Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are amazing! Their enthusiasm for learning never ceases to amaze me. They work hard every day, staying engaged with hands-on activities and games that help them practice their skills and increase their knowledge. I love giving them the tools they need to succeed. We are a low socioeconomic area and highly diverse school in Central California. Nearly all of my students' learning happens at school. Most of my students have not traveled beyond our city walls. We are a small school with a big heart!
My Project
Thank you for helping me to secure supplies for my students. I hope to get these whiteboard clipboards and markers into my students hands as soon as possible. They can use them for so many things, but mainly I hope that they will use them for math practice.
We use them in the classroom to show our work, and it would be great to have a set that goes home with them for good.
I also want to send them home with pre-sharpened pencils and a deck of cards. Cards can be used to play a plethora of games with their family, but they can also be used to practice math skills!
