Help me give my students the opportunity to keep learning out of school by giving me the resources I need to keep teaching. The chart paper, markers, and document camera will help me continue to give quality instruction.
My students are currently learning through technology. We meet through webcam on Google Meet opposed to brick and mortar. I am working with a computer and paper and pencils. The challenge is having all the materials needed to still give quality instruction that will get them ready for 5th grade.
My Project
Right now students are learning virtually through webcam and virtual textbooks. However, they still need assistance from the teacher. It is difficult to model a lesson and the thinking without the proper resources. Not being in the classroom has made it difficult to conduct class without the classroom resources. Students still need to see examples and receive guidance from their teacher. These resources will help me continue to give them quality instruction.
I need chart paper, markers, and a document camera to help teach my students from a distance.
The chart paper will be used to make anchor charts to use during our Google Meet sessions. The digital notebook will be a way for me to share notes with the students via Google Classroom. The document camera will be a great way for me to still teach while at home. The most difficult part of online learning is not being able to demonstrate to the students how to solve problems. These resources will help me create a classroom out of school for them to keep learning.
