This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students have had to go from hands on small group learning to learning at home through posts, live sessions and 1:1 sessions at home. Many of my students do not have access to books at home, materials or internet. They are doing the best they can with what they have and things I can give them.
My Project
These materials will help my students stay busy and keep them both physically and mentally active. Students will be able to have crayons, glue, dry erase board, pencils and markers to complete school work as well as to be able to draw. They are all active students and want to complete work as they are assigned. These materials will allow them to know that they have all that they need to learn and accomplish things that others say they can't.
My students may have autism but autism doesn't have them.
These materials will allow them to do activities to build skills through out this time as well.
