Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Make our video projects even more spectacular. Our new camera would deliver our video projects in awesome high definition and really make our students shine!
Our students are very hard working.
We have a very high Spanish speaking population. Students must learn English while learning the remainder of the curriculum at the same time. We are in a low economic area of Nevada and students get extremely excited to work on our video projects.
My Project
My students need a new camcorder. We make pretty amazing video projects throughout the year, but our poor old camera is outdated. This resource will allow students in this year's class and those from future classes to continue to take part in our class video program. We were lucky enough to have a camera donated several years ago. However, it is outdated and does not record what is shown in the viewfinder, making much of our hard work useless.
This project will get students extremely excited for our upcoming video projects this year.
Right now were working on our addition and subtraction video, later this year we will be working on our nouns, verbs, and adjectives video, and we will end the year working on a student inspired narrative video project. We work very hard on our video projects and a new camera will make them possible for the rest of this year and years into the future!
