Holistically Addressing Challenging Behaviors

I need tools and resources to help my school better address challenging student behaviors from a caring, compassionate and holistic perspective.

My Project

I will be more knowledgeable about trauma and its impacts so that I can better understand and address challenging behaviors, especially those that have increased since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Our students are struggling, and it is impacting their learning, peer relationships, and mental health.

These resources will help me better support the students at my school (and their teachers) as I share my learning with my colleagues and administrative team and explore ways to improve our school-wide behavior management systems and processes.

I hope to bring restorative practices to our classrooms and our disciplinary approach to create a positive, caring environment for our students.
