Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I love that my students let nothing hold them back. My students see a lot of hard times and they always find a way to push through it like champions. I love how excited they are about coming to my class and to see what they will learn. I want my students to be enthusiastic about all aspects of school in and out of the classroom. What makes my students special is that they are them and proud to be them.

My Project

I would love for my students to walk into my classroom and see all the fun, cool decorations for the holidays. Having them experience each holiday and all the joys each holiday brings. I teach kindergarten and I think my students would love to walk in the room and see a Christmas tree in the class, see the elf on the shelf. To see my room transformed into Santa's workshop with all the decorations will just make them so excited about the Holidays as well as about coming into my classroom every day to work It will help brighten up their day.
