Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am having a blast teaching math, science, coding, and AVID my incredible sixth graders this year! These are my favorite subjects, and I just love this age group. My students are enthusiastic about learning new things and are full of energy!

Our school has a spectacular staff and incredible community support.

Even though we are located in a low socioeconomic area, it is clear that parents want the best for their children by their active involvement.

My students face many daily challenges, as many come from foster homes or might be experiencing homelessness. However, they always come to school with dazzling smiles, ready to have fun learning!

My Project

My sixth graders enjoy being at school. They are always so curious about what the next day holds. We have two weeks off for the winter holiday, and some of my students would rather be at school!

Many of my students may not receive much during the holiday season, so I want to make sure they get a few items from school.

They will love the stamps, erasers, and bouncy balls. I think the puzzle cubes will be a favorite, as it will give them something challenging to do. The sticky hands and spinning tops are always a hit! The stress balls will bring them comfort during vacation and they will enjoy the holiday candy. In addition, I know they will jingle around campus with the bracelets and necklaces!
