My Students

My students are wonderfully curious about the Spanish language. They are all always coming to class ready to learn and hear stories about the different places. I would love to expose them to more authentic material but it is hard to buy books in the target language because of the expense. We talk all the time about how we can read and learn more about different countries by seeing the material first hand.

My students thrive off of what is happening around the world that they can relate to and compare to their own lives.

I want them to read about the world beyond the confines of the USA and see the rich cultures that exist in other countries.

My Project

The following books will expose my students to authentic content in the target language. I want my students to read Real-World articles about what is happening in other countries and different cultures that speak Spanish.

I want my students to get the opportunity to see what the Spanish speaking world has to offer.

My students love looking and comparing themselves to other students their age from around the world. This will give them the ability to see students from Spanish speaking countries and allow them to be exposed to their culture also. This will be a great opportunity to see there is a world outside of the USA also rich in heritage and culture.
