Every morning I start off by greeting my students at the door to help them come in and be ready to learn! I want my students to grow and be ready to engage the world around them. My biggest challenge is helping my students to maintain motion during our small group instruction time.
I have a very diverse group of students who are eager to learn.
They are very active and need ways to keep moving while they are learning. Our school is very much like a family environment and a happy place to learn. We believe in trying new things to help our students find the best way to learn.
My students will use the stools while having small group math and reading to help them focus on instruction. We will use them in other small group activities since they are easily moved.
This is what Kaplan says about the Hokki stool "it is an ergonomic stool that transforms stationary sitting into an activity, ideal for brainstorming sessions and other active sitting environments."
Hokki stools will improve my students small group learning experience.
Kaplan also says "You're moving, even when you seem to be sitting still. The convex base allows for movement in all directions, which is critical to student development as physical movement both increases well-being and encourages the physical and intellectual maturing process.
Please help my students get Hokki stools!
