My students are involved in an International Baccalaureate Program, which places a strong emphasis on Physical Education. My students often share with me that Physical Education is one of the most positive points in their day; I love hearing from ALL of my students that they enjoy PE!
My students are always excited to come to Physical Education Class, and they are always eager to learn the new activity for the day.
Students leave my class prepared to embrace a lifelong dedication to physical fitness and a commitment to their overall health and wellbeing.
My Project
As a component of the International Baccalaureate curriculum, the Physical Education teachers like to teach our students about various sports from around the world.
Floor Hockey is a unique sport that involves teamwork, agility, and fitness.
With our new gym floors, we need SOFT hockey equipment!
Floor Hockey is also a sport that is not commonly played in public education in the South, and we want to introduce our students to Floor Hockey. We combine our classes due to space limitations, and we have up to 102 students in the gym at a time. We currently do not have soft hockey sets that are acceptable for use with our new gym floor, and we would love to have your help!
