My Students

From kindergarten to the eighth grade, our school family prides itself on maintaining a one-room-school-house atmosphere out in the wilds and more than two hours from any big box stores. There are just over 150 of us, and we are so proud that over half of us come from First Nation peoples.

We might be a tiny school, but we have a Herculean heart for learning and for one another.

Our school Motto: Be responsible, be respectful, and be safe is something we believe in and practice.

My Project

Martin Luther King wisely stated, "We are not makers of history. We are made by history." Students will use theatrical and voice over techniques to bring their historical projects to life when they present for an audience of students and parents (in costume and full makeup).

A true and authentic learning experience will be had by not only the young historian/performer but also the audience when their stories come alive, bringing history into the present.

Not only will our students increase their reading and writing ability with the requested condenser mic, lapel mic, and amp, they will connect on a personal level with the famous people they researched. In addition, students will learn about various software and recording equipment to aid them in their shows.
